Welcome to Life in Daegu

Hello, and welcome.

As you may have noticed from this website, I am a father of two daughters living in Daegu, South Korea. I also run a tire shop in nearby Gyeongsan, a city located right next to Daegu.

These days, I often see more and more foreign visitors in downtown Daegu. Whenever I do, I sometimes wonder if they are truly getting to experience what this city has to offer.

Daegu may not be as internationally known as Seoul or Busan, and I imagine it can be difficult to find useful information about daily life here. That thought is one of the reasons I decided to create this category.

To be honest, I am writing this with a very casual mindset. Please do not expect professional travel guides or anything too fancy.

Instead, I plan to share simple stories from everyday life in Daegu.

Sometimes it may be a restaurant my family enjoyed. Sometimes it may be a quiet café, a local neighborhood, or just an ordinary day that felt worth remembering.

I am not sponsored by anyone, and I pay for everything myself. The places I write about will simply be places that I genuinely visited and enjoyed.

I hope I can continue writing here for a long time.

Thank you for reading, and welcome to Daegu through my eyes. 🙂
